Multiplier event in Olomouc 10 March 2017 (Czech Republic)

The HELP project Multiplier event in Olomouc was opened by Jan Galuzska, M.D., PhD, Vice-dean for International Relations of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Palacký University Olomouc. Dr. Galuszka welcomed all participants of the event and expressed special acknowledgements to high number of attendees. He thanked the participating organisations, who helped to gather such a large audience: SVVZ – Association of Nurses with a University Degree and POUZ – Professional Union of Healthcare Professions.

Firstly, the idea and background of the HELP project was presented, followed by a wider invitation to participate in the Erasmus programme. Opportunities for training and experience abroad were presented and the professional and personal benefits were emphasised.

Secondly, Lukáš Merz presented the professional background of the project team and showed some interesting findings from of the Need Analysis phase. The project stages and schedules were introduced and commented upon.

Thirdly, the outputs of the project were presented: live demonstration of module features (audio, video, animations, quizzes…) with instruction on how to register, how to use the platform and how to download the mobile application. The multimedia content was highly appreciated, the opportunity to download, slow down the recording and transcripts were especially appreciated.

Subsequently the discussion started. The attendees expressed their interest in the HELP project, asking about possible modules, possible other language levels (beginners, advanced). Some questions concerned the app for smartphones and tablets and use of project results in practice.

Every attendee received the newest edition of the HELP project flyer, invitation to the final conference and some marketing materials from Palacký University.
